This doesn't qualify as an old tool by any stretch, but like the darned thing.

Got this power strip from Harbor Freight a couple years ago. Lead cord is 10-12', so quite long. It's also magnetic. Good strong magnets keep it stuck where you put it.

Stuck to my tool box right now. Have also stuck it to my steel welding table you guys talked me into a while back....that was great advice.

When stuck to welding table, have plugged 2-3 angle grinders w/ different wheels to it so it's quick/easy to change tasks. I can only use 1 at a time.

While going through the in-law's house, I found this old meat cutting saw. (FIL was a meat cutter years ago)
It looks like a giant hacksaw, (blades are 22 1/2" long, & hardened), cuts wood like crazy, even cut some aluminum. I imagine it will sail through bone.
Also found (5) new blades still wrapped in rust-stop paper.
Very well built, patent date of June 1935.
Not sure if it will live here or at my place in the high country, but I'm definitely keeping it.

Gosh, we used to have a very similar saw at home on the farm. Don’t think it was that old though.

Hung next to the barn door. Worked great for deer. Sometimes deer mysteriously ran into the barn, and died just inside. Being poor and resourceful people, we thought it best they be butchered very quickly, lest they spoil…..🤓

Many times I’ve wished to have that saw back for butchering, but it’s long since gone.

If in your shoes, I would definitely keep it.

Found this today at an estate sale- have no idea how it is used, but I thought it looked cool/useful.
It is a Snap-on WA171D, it is marked "Warning, Loosen Suspension Arm Bolts Do Not Over Torque", and it is 18"long.
A google search turned up nothing useful.

Yup, it does. But the "hook" is reversed; looks like it is reversible and can be mounted in two different positions.

Found another 3/4" Proto Spud wrench at an estate sale for a couple of bucks.
Not quite as nice as the one I posted earlier, (post #48) but still cool.
