Something just crossed my mind last evening. Now the BX has the whole quick hitch for the blade, and the comming B, has a FEL and bucket and no blade. I am wondering if the quick hitch for the BX would hook up under the B so I could use the plow with out having to re-engineer the whole thing. Im sure with copious amounts of welding rods, wire, and steel plate it could be done. I just wondered if any one ever did it?

You don't think the BX would be enough tractor for ya and in my experience forget the blade and put your money into a blower, a far superior way to move snow IMHO.

Skeets- seems like the front hitch for the B is much different than the BX...much longer, part of which seems like for the bearings for the PTO.

Now you don’t need the mid-PTO shaft to use the blade.....

It seems like the mount for both is similar with the wedge-type blocks, if I remember right. Might be worth just lining up the hitch the tractor to see what it looks like.

SSQA blade for "B" uses oddball angle cylinder.

I used a friend’s SSQA plow to do his driveway when he was laid up.

Wasn’t a power angle, but worked good

A hitch for a B is a LOT bigger and heavier built than on for a BX. They also cost a LOT more money. My snow blower came off of a B model and I thought about cutting it down to use it on my BX, but I found a new/ used blade and it had the correct hitch for my tractor. I sold the B hitch on this site a couple years ago. Keep an eye out in the ads on this site. You may find just what you need.
