Hello all, I have a Kubota B2150hsd.
Four wheel drive and hydrostat. I am wanting to run
A log splitter off of the hydraulics of the unit and am having a hard time, getting information and understanding it.
I have been a mechanic and fabricator most of my life but this I cant wrap my head around.
I wont be using it hard, just what I cant split by hand.
The tractor doesnt have a loader but has the valve on the side with the 3 connection ports. Which are I believe pressure, neutral and return?
Can i plumb a valve and hoses into it for the rear hookups?
Can I just put pioneer fittings in and run it straight off the side.
It has the directional valve wired into position.
And its my understanding that if I hook up to the tractor the it will work as a pump but the 3 point will no longer function?
Any advice would be great and thank you all.

I see by looking at the hydraulic schematics of the priority valve that a factory loader would connect to 3 ports. The splitter has an open center valve mounted on it.
Which ports would I or could I connect to to operate the unit?

Also can anyone tell me the size and style of fitting I would need to thread into the priority block for attachments?

My nearest dealer is over an hour away so it makes it hard.

Thanks again

First just so you know:
A hydraulic log splitter on that system is going to be incredibly slow (low GPM) about a 1/4 the speed of a normal splitter.

The block on a B2150 will be Power out in front and Power beyond in the rear.

The fittings should be BSPP.

Thank you Wolfman, this is a good start on the information I need! Thankfully got lucky on the "Search" function. I bought a used Koyker 120 loader, and am finally trying to get it plumbed up - still not sure what fittings to install so nothing blocks access to the pedal, but at least I know the thread type.
