Hello, I am the proud new owner of a B7510 with 440 hours. I have looked the tractor over and it appears to not have been abused, Everything appears to work OK and I like it. The only issue I see is it looks like both hydraulic spin on filters are original. They are both gray and have a dried drop of gray paint at the 6 o'clock position. I am currently getting everything ready to change it all. Hopefully I will not see any pre-mature failures down the road. Any thoughts on this? How unusual is this? I can't imagine someone not following the schedule.

Thanks, Trent

Oh, you sweet summer child. Imagine. Really, really hard. I went in to my local dealer and found that my new-to-me tractor had been locally sold new 20 years ago, and had -0- service history. Maybe the previous owner(s) did it himself with just over 500 hours on the clock. Maybe it never happened at all.

90% never follow ANY schedule on anything that they buy. Ask any service tech at any dealership: car, tractor or boat.

The first thing that you do on any used purchase is go over it with a fine toothed comb. Get a checklist to go by, wash it down, blast it with an air line, and change all the fluids & filters. Check every bolt and fitting, grease every zerk.
