There is a plug near the clutch pedal (it may look like a bolt) that is about half way up the side of the transmission. It will have a sealing washer behind it. When fluid begins to run out it is full.
I think the filter is on the same side behind the foot board behind a cover with two bolts and it is a domed shape cover.

Well I just happen to have a picture of the level plug near the clutch as there are two in the same general area and its the one to the right and sticks out...

The hydraulic filter screen is on the same side of the tractor but located at the back, lower area of the rear differential case housing. The screen itself is located behind an ob-longed, kind of egg shaped cover retained by two bolts...

If you havent thought of it already then when/if you drain the fluid you might want to consider also draining both rear, left and right axle cases.
Good luck,

They are on the cases opposite side of the rear tires. As you fill up the tranny it will allow fluid to drain into the cases.
