So we picked up a L 48 last year and it was missing the BT 1100 backhoe attachment and we recently found one, but it had been modified.. I would really like to get a picture or a few pictures of what it’s supposed to look like hooked up to the tractor and where all the hoses go. Or if someone would be so kind as to post or send a video of actually taking off the attachment and putting it back on that would be REALLY appreciated! 🙂

You need a copy of the L48 TLB workshop manual.
Try E-bay.

There should be a BH manual online somewhere as well. Shows yo the recommended procedure.

I can post some pics for my BT12000 if you get desperate, I imagine they will look similar. My procedure is to spread the jacks out for stability but not touch the ground, fully curl the bucket and stick, boom down to the bucket knuckle to relieve pressure on the BH frame pins, remove pins, slowly boom up and the BH unhooks from the frame.

I can't help " Elliemay79" much, because I have never removed my BT1100 hoe.
I do have the manual, but my trying to describe the manual instructions would be problematic at best.

Take a digital pic of the manual page, get pictures onto the device you use on this forum (computer, tablet, phone).

Make a new post, there is a button at the top of the post that looks (sort of) like a photo of mountains. Press that and there will be some words that let you select where to get the photo from. Use photo library (probably), the select ONE photo. There will be something like “posting picture“ and when that gets to 100% you can select POST REPLY.

You can add text first but I am trying to make it as easy as possible to do, so please don’t feel insulted by the directions. The directions are off the top of my head so may be a little off, but just follow the on screen directions and you will be able to post pictures. If you need more information, I will be happy to help with more clearly stated instructions but I recall that they are here somewhere in a sticky thread.

I do appreciate your offer to assist.
Problem is : I am 84 years old, and basically computer illiterate.
I'll ask my wife if she can do what you suggest.

Bought M59 without a backhoe. Landscape model. Took two years and 600miles to find one. Owners and WSM manuals are your friend. Tractor didn’t have QDs so used flatface connectors on the three lines. Note the tractor hydraulic fittings are British tapered thread. The stickers for the valve positions under the seat were about worn off. Important information when changing from 3pt and backhoe attachments. Surprised how easy to change except for manhandling the weight of the 3pt arms. Improved pin hardware and technique has lessened the time and effort to change.

Hope the previous modifications don’t interfere with OEM design frame hook up. Lot of forces generated and don’t want to come loose when operating.

I was surprised by how easy removal and installation is as well. Quite a bit easier than my John Deere 855. The owner's manual spells the procedure out pretty well. The decals do as well, and are much handier than reaching for the manual. I think you can still obtain the decals, but don't quote me on that.

I had a good picture of the hose connections on the backhoe, but not the tractor side. I took a picture that shows the connections and the valve handles used to divert flow to operate the 3 point hitch when the backhoe is removed. I hope this helps.

Thank You for all for the tips and advice and definitely the pics. It’s all been very helpful. With the weather a lot of work on this has been put on hold. I’ll hopefully have an update here soon

I would try to help you out with some pictures, but I am 1500 miles away from my L48TLB until June.
