The RV winch at the top of the boom pole is remote controlled and allowed me to set them gently and precisely while on a ladder controlling the trusses.
Very nice. I could probably use a winch, but my tractor (and it's charging system) is smaller than yours. :( So chainfalls seemed like a reasonable alternative.

Wolfman, what do you have as ballast on the back of your tractor?
It's a cast iron head to a 6 cylinder large diesel.
It's a cast off from a friend
It worked rather well because it wasn't too bulky.

North Idaho Wolfman, that is a lot of sticks of wood to assemble for a one man home build!

The skill sets required from moving dirt, burying water, elec, drain lines, the heating system, pouring concrete, building trusses, sheeting, roofing is AMAZING to say the least. The fore-though for each step would be too much for most.

I still say it looks like the beginning of a Holiday Inn! You opening a resort?:D
