Mwade,

Welcome to OTT,

Gonna need a few more pictures of the ol girl to get the exact model. The year will be somewhat irrelevant, even though there could be a change in the specifications in the model based on the serial number.

It looks to be a later model B7100 geared model.

More pictures will help to ID the tractor. Upload more from around the entire tractor -including dash, front end and engine.

There should be a plate on the clutch housing side - might have to wipe down to see it clearly.

Here is an example of what you may see :

This is of a B7100 HST not a geared tractor -

Also - if you open the hood and take a picture of the engine that will help too - there are numbers on the block that will ID the model of the engine.

One other place that may help - look on the rear wheels near the tire bead - see if you can find these numbers, which will also help to ID the tractor.

Report back with your findings.

The steering can be fixed if you are handy with a wrench and have the time.

That was my first thought also. However something far back in my mind is telling me -- I don't think they made a gear drive B7100 in the "later model". The 6 bolt front axel does say later model. I wonder if someone put a different front axel in that tractor.

Hello,
Thank you very much for the reply and all of the detailed information. I apologize for the late response. I have attached a few more pictures of the tractor. Unfortunately, the plate looks like it has been painted over but there is a stamp above, looks like B600 1E-14742?

Also, the stamp on top of the motor looks like
09 25 K2-C 750
650

Unfortunately I was not able to find a stamp on the rear wheels. Again thank you so much for the help, please let me know if the photos are good or if other locations are needed. Hoping once the model is confirmed I can start wrenching on it to get the steering fixed, although I’m not sure what all that will entail 😂.
Also, any suggestions on the assumed value? We will be purchasing it from Grandma and want to make sure we are accurate 👍

If it is a B7100, there are replacement parts on ebay.

Here is a video of the repair on a similar mode.

Thank you everyone for the reply’s.
Assuming it is a true B6001, are there specific parts or would B6000 parts be compatible?

I can't help much with the ID, but I do recall seeing here on OTT that just because the Serial Number starts with a grey model # (e.g., B6001-xxxxx) does NOT necessarily mean it's a grey market tractor.

Are most of the labels, etc. in English, Japanese, or both?
