HI - I bought a B2320 a few weeks ago and am storing it at a friend's farm. The mmm linkage seems to be seized. It is halfway up and will not go in either direction.I have never seen it work and am unfamiliar with the way the linkage works. Is there a chance someone could remove their mower for me and post a video of the linkage going up and down so I can see how it is supposed to work? Thanks very much for any help.

Check the knob located under the seat with "Top-1-2-3-4-5" markings. This is the setting for how far down the linkage will go.

Right behind your left foot is the knob that jkcolo22 references. If it is set to "Top", then it is not going to go down. To adjust this knob, you need to lift the 3 pt all the way up first... this unloads the stop so you can move the positioning knob. If you turn it to "0", then it can come all the way down.

Usually if the MMM is not in use, the position knob is set to "top" to keep it from hanging down and getting caught on something. When the MMM is in use it can be adjusted in 1/4" increments to set the cutting hieght. Just remember to always have the 3 pt all the way up before turning the position knob.

Great info. Always learning something new on this forum. The delivery guy certainly didn't know this procedure when he was struggling to show me how to remove the mower.

Question: is this true whenever turning the knob, or just when coming out of "top"? For instance, if I'm set at 3, do I have to go all the way up on the 3pt, then turn to 2, then back down?

Yes. 3PH all the way to the top, then turn the dial to desired setting.
