New BX2380 owner and looking for a efficient storage solution for my MMM. It’s a RCK60B, so its 60 inches wide and weighs 250#. I want to store it vertically. I am thinking I will find two pieces of steel pipe to act as as axels. Max OD diameter is one inch. I plan to insert these in place of the scalper wheels. Place deck vertical and then use heavy coaster wheels attached to the axles. I plan to drill a hole and put the coaster wheel spindles through my storage axles. A clinch pin to secure axles in scalper wheels holders. This should allow me to roll deck where I want and reduce footprint for storage. Looks pretty simple and quick to attach and remove. Can the front of deck be stored vertically without leaking gear oil. Is there a vent in the gear box? Anyone done this before? Will this work?
Thanks

I have had mine stored vertical for 6 years .............chute side up - no leaks.
I cheated - I use a 10 set pully to hoist it up and there is sits tied to the wall!!!!

Notice it is off to the right of the picture against the wall

Well great!!! Thanks for the input. Picked up wheels and axle for under twenty $. Now off to fabrication and I will report back.

Thanks
Chinook3

****** Fabrication took about an hour and it works!!!! The wheels I used were caster wheels and the axle was black pipe cut 12 inches long. Each caster was rated for 80# times 4. So I should have 250# deck covered. I will try and post a pic. If you are looking to save some storage space, I highly recommend.
Thanks for your help!!!!
