If you're planning on smashing thru woods with a BX, better plan on getting yourself a set of full skid plates. Otherwise, you're in for a world of hurt replacing HST fans. BX machines have very limited ground clearance with short tires. They are not designed for woods work.
Good point. I have under armor on mine when needed. Ground clearance is still an issue sometimes.

I've had a BX2360 for 8+ years.

I've shopped B's 2 or 3 times since.

If I had it to do over, I would have gotten a B of some sort to begin with. Now, an LX would also be in the mix.

Since I mow (MMM/mid-mount mower) and use a front snowblower, an L01 is not in the cards, as they don't have mid-PTO.

Still have the BX and really like it. Been a great machine.

There's times where it's just not quite enough....

I had a BX23 for a dozen years and worked the bejesus out of it. They are great little machines and pretty tough. The exception is the underbelly. I did have to replace my HST fan once, and that was with a set of Brotech skid plates. A stick still found its way up into the HST fan.

Anyone need an old fireplace?
