I have / had a problem with the loader control on my B2601. It has only 160 hours and I just bought it.
The bucket would curl and dump but when lifting or lowering, it would not function well.
I was feeling "resistance" and assumed it was a linkage adjustment.
Looked around online and there was a youtube video with exact same problem.
Unfortunately, I now know what the problem is.
The 3-point lift arm control was lifting too high and experiencing "deadheading" which prevented proper operation of the loader.
Hydrostatic pressure built up until it split the lift arm cylinder!
Posting so you can avoid this simple but expensive repair.
Anybory parting out a B2601 or know of a good parts outlet?

Call Messicks. They are very nice to deal with. And fast.

That don't seem right unless your relief valve wasn't working (you should have heard a squealing).
