We have a 2001 M8200. It had some debries in the fuel line from tank to water separator causing shutoff after short usage. We cleaned lines out and checked filters, etc. Lines have been bled of air per the manual's directions. It acts like it is started and acts like it runs when key switch is in the starting position, the second we release the key, it shuts off. Would air in the fuel system be causing this still?

Not very likely, sounds more like you have an issue with the fuel solenoid.
Check fuses as there can be several that run the solenoid.
