I have a 1989 Kubota M7950DT front wheel assist, there are no stickers left for any shifter. floor/trans mounted shifter appears to have 4spds forward & 1 reverse, but manual states it should only have 3 speeds. on the LH side of seat according to my manuals it should have 4 range gears (a-d) in a "winding river" shift pattern BUT it does NOT it has 2 shifters that move forward/back with rh side shifter has a word on a tiny piece of sticker that says ....."speed". can someone please help me?

By reading this I would think it would have 3 speeds forward one reverse. With a 4 range a, b, c, d.

according to operators manual, yes it "should" have 3 speed gears & 1 reverse but it definitely has 4 speed gears & 1 reverse. according to operators manual it "Should" have 4 ranges (A-D) but it definitely does not, the shifter for range as per attached diagram is not same as above pics of my present shifter setup, notice diagram shows a "lazy river" pattern for A-D but my photo of my present shifters are NOT like this at all

Looking at the parts list, it looks like that 'lazy river' is for a hydro shift DT-S. Unfortunately Messicks doesn't have pictures, so it's kind of sketchy. There are multiple transmission options on that tractor. Can you read the full model # off the nameplate, should be on the frame?
What's the history on this machine?

Looking from picture... Top left is pto, top right is 4wd, and the lower two are speed. So do you have a shifter in the middle of the transmission tunnel?

Yes, i do have a shifter in middle of floor but it has 4 forward gears & 1 reverse. I have been able to find out that this tractor is considered a M7950DT "OLD STYLE", which looks identical to a regular M7950DT & has same V4300 engine but COULD come with a "SUB SHIFT" & "CREEP SHIFT" which uses a 2 lever system same as i have on the lh side of seat along with PTO shifter & 4wd shifter. I hope somebody here can get me the proper operating information for the SUB SHIFT & CREEP SHIFT out of a operating manual & possibly even a picture of the decals so i can have them remade

I tried, I found that same guide plate. Problem, every time I searched decals they had the winding river guide…
