I know why it won't start just don't know how to find the reason. I have checked and found that i don't have the voltage to the fuel shut off solenoid. Nothing I can find tells me when the wiring goes and what items are involved with supplying 12 volts to the unit. LIke location of relays or any other components in the circuit. Can anyone offer some insight?

Welcome. I'm assuming crank/no-start?
Here's the start system and relay location. Theres an engine stop relay and a key stop relay.

It may help in the future if you put the full model number in your info. Cab/ROP and shuttle type sometimes changes things. Let us know your results.

My 7040 (ROPS) relays are behind the instrument panel. Remove the screws holding the panel on, and lean it back toward the steering wheel. The relays are on the top of the firewall. You can swap relay locations if you think one is faulty just to troubleshoot.

The posts 2 & 3 would help if the location of the relay locations on the unit where described. Nice picture s to identify which relay is for what but where are they located in the cab? View attachment 99055
From perusing the parts diagrams on Messick's, it appears to be under a panel in the floor beneath the seat.

Remove 2 bolts and the relays are attached to this cover.

PM me your serial number because nothing is adding up.
There are quite a few sub models of the M7040 so anything is possible.

Thanks that helped to nail it down.

Behind the seat right hand side.
Might be under a trim cover.

OK then, I'm at a total loss as all the info says that it's in one of those 2 locations.

When you opened it up was there the 2 clips to hold the relay panel?
Wondering if someone has relocated it to the side panel?

No tabs on back panel to mount relays and not moved to the side behind the fender cover. I had all that off replacing the PTO safety switch. And that area looks just like the picture shows.
