It is in anticipation of a purchase. I hesitate between 14X17.5 and 15X19.5. Not mentioned in the manual found on the internet. I would like someone with this tractor and these tires to give them to me because I can't find anything on the internet.

I have the 15x19.5 filled with RimGuard on my LX2610HST. I like the R4 better than the R14. Why I work in my woods more than 50% of the time. R4 have thicker tread and sidewalls. Also you can get almost 200 pounds more ballast in the bigger tires.
Thank makes a big difference in traction.
Speaking of traction I seldom need to 4wd even when plowing snow. ( Mid-Michigan).
Ground clearance I have never measured it but would guess 1-2" more than with the smaller tires.

Me too, it's for working in wood so I want the highest possible ground clearance and not too wide (less than 56 in.). If I have more than 2 in. but no more than 56" wide, I'll take the 15X19.5

This is the best photo I have of mine showing the tires. I know it's more than 56" outside to outside. Forget for sure but it's probably 59-60"
Also if your getting a grapple look at the EA wicked 55. The serrations really help hold the logs in the grapple..

Difficult to estimate from a photo but if it's 59 or 60 in I would take the 14X17.5 tires which gives a width of 54 in.

The 14*17.5 R14's are the same overall width as the R4's the info in the manual is the center to center measurement. I can measure mine later today when I'm out in the barn....

Thank you that would be appreciated (exterior width as photo). Can you measure the ground clearance also which should I believe should be 15 to 16 in.

I see an overall width of 56 3/4". on your tape measure. Your tires are R4. The R14 should, I believe, have the same width. It is therefore the 15X19.5 that I will take. Thanks Daferris for your help.:) Does anyone with R14s confirm?

Higher ground clearance also equals higher center of gravity which isn't a good thing on uneven terrain. You might try wheel spacers, too.

Fwiw, from the reviews I've seen the LX has a higher ground clearance than an L01 which is a lot heavier tractor. Mine can feel tippy with loaded tires, FEL, and rear implement. I wouldn't want to go even higher without going wider with spacers.

I want a high ground clearance and a minimum width to circulate more easily in woods and on small 4-wheel trails. I am aware that the center of gravity is higher. Indeed the ground clearance of the Lx2610 is 1.2 in. higher than the L2501 (regular tire)
