I just purchased a new LX2610 with a cab. I would like to install a set of rear LEDs on the cab. Has anyone done this yet? Any pointers / tips? Mounting brackets and wiring is preinstalled. Just not sure how to install the switch in the dash.

If your new LX2610 is like my B2650HSDC then the wiring harness for the rear lights is already there. All you need to do to install the switch is pull out the blank in the dash push in the $60 switch and plug the wiring harness plug into the back of the switch. The plug is most likely near the top of dash on the left hand side. It is identical to the plug used for the front work lights. The rear work light plugs will most likely have to be replaced as finding a set of LEDs that has a matching plug is unlikely. The dash panel has three screws holding it in place, one at the top center on the underneath side, and one on the left and right side about two thirds of the way down from the top. Once the screws have been removed you can pull the dash panel away far enough to gain access to the harness without removing the steering wheel. Again, this is for a B2650HSDC, but from the pictures I've seen of the lX2610, I think everything will be the same.
