Apologies in advance - probably asked and answered years ago, but I can't find the post. Bottom line: I need a 3-point hitch linkage kit - the whole enchilada - a Top Link, two Lifting Rods, two Telescopic Stabilizers and two Lower Links along with hardware to install the parts (pins, cotter pins, bolts, etc.,).

The backstory is - I just bought a B2650 with a FEL and backhoe. Lovely little machine. Came with a box grader, but when I got it home I realized there was no linkage kit. The previous owner says he doesn't have it - only used the backhoe and never put the box grader on the machine. I've seen lots of "aftermarket" kits, including ones on Amazon for ~$200. Went to my local Kubota dealer up here in Northern Canada, and they want $4,300 for the kit (OMG!!!!!).

So, I guess my questions are:
  • Can I trust any of these aftermarket kits?
  • If not, is it possible to find a second-hand kit somewhere?
  • Will the linkage kit from any other Kubota models, or (gasp!) other tractor manufacturers fit my B2650?
  • Do I have any other options before forking over a ridiculous amount of money for a few (albeit important) metal bars and fixtures?
Many thanks!

Hi

I’m in the same boat here. Bought a 2004 L3130 with a backhoe. Previous owner
says he never had a three point hitch. The Kubota one is crazy expensive and all the others seem so cheap. What did you end up doing?

Looks like the OP was last seen on this site 3 days after posting... That price he quoted sounds like he asked about it at the Parts Dept. vs. talking to a sales person and ask them for the Whole Goods Catalog price of the 3 point hitch for your model. I'm sure you should be able to call them, and ask.

There's an L3961 3ph kit sold for the L series TLB's that come with a backhoe and no 3ph parts. It may work on your machine. I posted some pictures, but I don't think I included pin diameters. You can search 'L3961'.

Thanks for the replies. I did see another post about not talking with the parts department (which I did) and getting a kit from the sales department. I’ll try that once Kubota has finished software update or whatever they are doing. I think that’s January 20.

I’ll also look into that aftermarket one but hopefully I can get an OEM one that isn’t thousands of dollars.
