Here is a way to save yourself losing a days work when you can't get a replacement hydraulic hose because the store is either closed or too far away. If it is good enough for the military, then it certainly is good enough for an emergency repair on your Kubota. https://www.rescuetape.com/

But I bet if you had the tape in your toolbox, a long weekend and a leaking hose on Saturday after everything closed that you would try it to see if you could at least get back into the parking spot before you left it sitting near the road for several days.

Kubotas have open centre auxiliary hydraulics, producing almost no pressure in the lines as long as one is not loading a cylinder. So yeah, in the limited case of containing the circulating fluid to keep the fluid in the system while limping home it might work.

But sealing a pressurized line? Not likely, IMHO. I might try to lift an empty FEL bucket to clear the ground using it, but only after backing it up with some hose clamps!

I have used that stuff. Works really well!

For water leaks.

But water leaks aren't pushing hundreds of PSI, and if they did, it wouldn't work there, either.
