I’ve got an L6060 with LA1055 loader and R4 tires (10x16.5 front, 17.5x24 rear). My issue is that those tire sizes are not listed in the Owner’s manual or the WSM for the tractor or loader.
I am presently running 14 in the rears and the maximum sidewall pressure (45) in the front for loader operations. I would like to run lower pressure in the front for better traction and ride, but don’t want to popping one off the bead with a heavy loader lift.
So my question is- does Kubota provide the dealer with additional information with the R4 tires like they do for most dealer installed options? And if they do, where can I get a copy?

My 4060 owners manual, which also covers the 6060, has 20 front and 20 rear for your listed tire sizes.

The loader manual says to refer to the tractor manual for tires not listed in the loader manual. Which in fact those tire sizes are not listed in the loader manual.

I dropped my rear pressures to 15, and I think I can go a bit lower. Front I haven't touched yet.

That’s interesting that your manuals show the R4 sizes. Mine definitely do not.

Perhaps one of us has an updated manual.

That’s interesting. I wonder what else I’m missing. Is there a date or revision number on your manual?
the WSM that I got back in May is also missing that info. My tractor (and manual) was delivered last March or April. When did you get yours? At any rate, thanks for the enlightenment.

I just got the tractor last month.

I didn't have it in my manuals for my L4060 either. Ended up using the pressure from the dealer delivery inspection sheet. Not that it matters but I thought my rears said 8 ply on them and that chart shows 6 ply?

20 in rears sounds right but I did 45 in fronts, as the dealer did for delivery.

I guess 12 PSI in the front tires isn't correct?

You have to love the temperature changes, aired mine back up to 22 PSI. I try to keep them around 22.

I didn’t remember to get the revision numbers off of my manuals when I was in the shop today, but I did lower the fronts to 25 to see how that goes. So for now it’s 14 in the rear, 25 in the front.

So today I had time in the shop, and my paper owner's manual does have the pressures for the R4 tires, with a note to use the maximum pressure (45) rather than the recommended 20psi IF you have a loader or front weights. My PDF owners manual did not have that info, nor does my paper WSM.
Thanks again to all that contributed.

My manual also shows 20 lb front and rear. When I took delivery last June, I was upset to find that I had 40 lbs in the front and 25 in the rear. After speaking with the service manager, he explained that 20 lbs in the front is too low a pressure for the 1055 loader. I am not doing really heavy loader work so I will put in higher front pressure than the tractor's recommended 20 lbs, but not more than 25-30 lbs in the front. The issue with higher tire pressure is when you are using the finishing mower or brush mower, your lower back will not be happy as you bounce your way across the field. If I am doing mowing, I remove the bucket (too lazy to remove the loader arms) and drop the tire pressures to 20 lbs for a smoother ride.

The manual essentially says to run the fronts at 45psi if you have the loader or front weights installe. Otherwise they should be at 20. I do remove the loader to mow, changing tire pressure would take much longer than removing or mounting the loader, espicially with the 8 port quick connect for the hydraulic hoses.
