Hey guys, I’ve been researching some tractors recently. This site has been very helpful. I found a low hour (400) 2013 L5460. Seems to be in good shape. I was about to pull the trigger when I noticed saw some extra sealant. My question to the group is: Has this tractor been apart or is this just how they are sealed from the factory? Should I be concerned? Thanks

It looks like the sealant still has paint on it. I would think it's left over from the factory.

It sure looks to me like a lot of the bolt heads show evedence of activity after it left the factory. Good call on taking pics to go with your questions.

Could very well be factory.
Could also be that they added something like a creeper gear.
Could be that it had an issue and was repaired earlier.
None of which would put it as a bad tractor.
I've bought many a tractor that someone was into before and there was nothing wrong with it.
