Well, another hydraulic issue. The steering control on my L48 TLB with 1280 hours has begun a slight leak at the top of the steering column. I’ve read some other posts about that part on other models that have said it’s the top seal and you have to tear down the valve, and it’s complicated...like you need to have the skills necessary to rebuild an automatic transmission to rebuild this thing, skills that I emphatically do not have. The best price I found on a new one was around $1350. Are there hydraulics shops out there that can rebuild a Kubota steering control that anyone can recommend? I’m hoping there’s a good solution that’s cheaper than buying a new part. Thanks.

Call around to the local hydraulic shops. They can probably tell you whether they can rebuild it - though you may have to take it into the shop for final determination. Even if a shop has the capability to rebuild the unit parts availability may be an issue.
