Is there a reason you don't want to use Kubota's fluid?

If you have an HST transmission it would be best to stick with Kubota fluid. If you have a gear transmission Kubota fluid would still work well but you could probably use a good quality tractor transmission and hydraulic fluid. For the difference in price versus the value of the equipment I'd stick with Kubota, though.

My L4310 has not had Kubota fluid since the factory fill. IT has about 3k hrs. on it now.
