L35, what thickness plate did you use 1/4, 5/16? Do you have access to weld it from the back or would slotting it work better? Final picture?
I’ll get back to you with final pics, and exact plate thickness. It is from ATI. Semi open in the back to facilitate welding. haven’t welded yet. Maybe this week sometime.

I had a day with my FIL and we got the bucket all welded up, also not pictured we made my snow plow contraption that used to bolt to the cutting edge a SSQA as well. Pallet fork frame arriving on Monday. I’ve been waiting years to do this now it’s coming together so quickly.

That's a different style bucket. I like how you're doing yours. Keep the cutoffs and you could convert it back to pin-on. I may eventually do mine that way, I'm not having any luck on finding a used SSQA bucket.
Tomahawk 66" bucket was advertised locally so I bit. $650 + outrageous Tenn sales tax but no shipping.
