I'm contemplating replacing the hood on my Kubota L295 tractor. I've found one off a L175 tractor in decent shape. It appears the L series may interchange given the hood seems to match up visually in the pictures from what I can see. It looks like Kubota extended the coverage makeup with another piece in front of the steering wheel. I'm not sure on width but believe it's a length issue from 2 cylinder to 3 cylinder and can't imagine them developing another longer hood unit. Does anyone know for sure if the hoods interchange between the 70's-80's L series tractors? Attached are pictures of what I described above for the L175 and L295 hood and extension piece for the L295.

Hoods are quite different. To fit a L295 I believe hoods from L295, L305, L345 or L355ss would have the same cross-section and front end - maybe different length. Look closely at Google pics.

I would look up 007kubotaguy AKA Lance here on OTT.

He has quite a few parts for older L models.

Find him and send an email or private message.
