I need new rear rims for my L2850 tractor. They are badly rusted around the stems and the tubes are now bulging out through the rust!
I can easily find rear rims for a L2800 but they don't specify that they fit the L2850. Does any one know if they are the same? The part number from Messick's says they are.

Also, my tires have plenty of tread....and plenty of cracking, What is your opinion, should I replace them at the same time as the rims and tubes, or save money and wait until they actually fail?

Thanks!

Yes the rear rims are the same.

I don't like cracked tires, they are just asking to fail.
I would bite the bullet and get new tires.
And with new tires you don't need tubes.

I bought these hoops off fleabay to fit my L2850 plates. Like $150 each. I think they are for a ford 8N, but fit Kubota plates fine. I had them blasted and powdercoated orange.
