Recently bought an L2500DT. 475 hours on the clock. I've changed oil & filter, air filter, coolant and greased everything the book mentions.
I'm about to change the transmission/hydraulic fluid. The book says to use Super UDT fluid.
Should I go to Super UDT2 or stick with the basic Super UDT? I'm located in South Georgia and North Florida and work very few cold days. Heat is my issue.
Also, the Florida dealer says there is a tranny filter. I can't find one and only see (in the book) a strainer that comes out to be cleaned with non-flammable fluids. Any ideas of what I'm missing?
Any other ideas or thoughts for me to check, replace ort change on a "new to me", used tractor?
Thanks. Florida Al

Any hydraulic fluid that is marked Kubota SUDT compatible will work. I use Chevron Synthetic All Weather THC or Shell Rotella AW32-40 Hydraulic fluid, both are Kubota compatible and I've always used 80-90 GL4-5 gear oil in the front drives.

I'd change everything (including the air filters (inner and outer) and every filter with Kubota filters to start at square one.
