Hi again....

Picked up a motor/transmission/rear end spare when purchasing a (mostly) complete L245DT last night.

Question is:

Can I swap out the seized motor in a L2250 with the spare L245DT motor?

I would evaluate the spare motor making sure it runs well before the swap, but not interested in investing the time/money in it if the swap isn't a reasonable pursuit.

The bellhousing between a DI and IDI engine are different, you would have issues bolting it up because the DI has a larger journal on the back.

The other issue might or might not be the oil pan, the L245 uses the oil pan and gearcase cover to bolt the front axle to, where the L2250 does not, it's independent of the engine.
