Hi, I have collapesed a bearing on the middle (Lay?) shaft of my transfer case, damaging the shaft and gear.
I am trying to find part numbers for it. Messicks part number lookup has nearly every thing, besides the transfer case:(
Being in Australia, I cant access the kubota parts list either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Al

Thanks Wolfman , but thats the one I can find.
The transfer case bolts on where the cover (15) is.
I was thinking about buying a manual, but there is no guarantee there is one there either.

I think this is what your looking for, it's called the "side gear case" and it's for driving the front axle... right?

It attaches to 35 not 15 on the first case picture.;)

Excellent! :D:D:D
Thank you so much, I have been chasing that for months now.
Now I have a chance to order some parts.
You have made my day.

If you can't find the parts in Oz, but you can find them in the US, I can help you out, I ship to OZ all the time.
Just give me a shout if you need help.

Thanks, I will keep that in mind.
The only one I have found so far is a whole side case complete, $450, and another few hundred for shipping. Make a expensive part.
I have someone trying Asia now with those numbers.
I see there are two numbers for each part I need, Shaft, Bearing and Gear. I am hoping they all match up.

G'day Al,

I recently had need of a 'front axle bracket' and had trouble sourcing one from the US, ended up getting it from a place 1/2 an hour away.

If you haven't already, try HERE.
Very knowledgeable and they have good contacts in China to source parts.

Unfortunately, like you have discovered, it's probably not going to be cheap.
My bracket was ~$400 and a little less for air freight (I'm impatient).

I had a look at my parts diagram and they do list 2 part numbers, there is a note that says they are interchangeable 'as a whole', so as long as you order the corresponding gear for the shaft it 'should' be OK.

I've sent you a PM.
