Well here I am. Drained the oil, pulled the filter, went to NAPA and found out they don't make the filters anymore. So I changed my plans and now i want to convert to a spin on filter but can't find them online. Where can i find a kit and can I put it on myself?

What oil filter are you looking for? Motor oil or hydraulic oil?

I believe that you have is a gray market tractor so a Kubota dealer won’t be able to help you much with the L1500 but they will be able to sell you parts that fit your tractor if you know the equivalent tractor that was imported for sale.

Here is a list of what is equivalent that says your equivalent is the L175

Your dealer should still be able to get either filter.

Since I think you’re asking about the transmission filter try part number 34150-37713

I honestly haven't found an oil filter that I couldn't find on eBay by searching for the part number on the filter that you are looking for. OK, there was one that I couldn't find, and that was the oil filter on my 1926 Buick Master 6 that was mounted on the firewall.
May I respectfully request that you post the model number of your Kubota in your profile, and post the filter number in this thread? We are like doctors, and your tractor is our patient. We can't help if we don't have the proper information or symptoms.

Sorry, I'm new here. I put model number in the title of post but I'll put it in profile too.
