Hi everyone, unfortunately I ran out fuel last week and couldn't get her started with new fuel. On inspection after opening the pipes on top of the injection pump, we thought that they had clogged up as they weren't squirting fuel. After playing around we seem to be able to make one side squirt deisel but not both. My Dad who's pretty good, has taken the pump apart but it still only delivers fuel from one side. Has anyone got any drawings or knows anymore on how it should be set up, incase we have not put it back exactly right. Thanks

Did you line up the timing marks on the barrel and rack on both pumps?
Unless you were running it with no fuel filter, more than likely it just cavitated and wouldn't move fuel.

We skipped the fuel filter by using a priming pump from fresh fuel straight to the pump, have you or anybody got any proper diagrams of how the inside of the pump should be lined up? My Dad is 100% he rebuilt it the same as it was but I guess he could of moved the rack slightly.

Just found this on YouTube (on a 3 cylinder) you mean like this?
Yep that or something very similar how you time the pumps with the rack.
Also on some pumps it's possible to put parts back into it 180` out.

I have the exact same issue, had a friend clean the injection pump and now only getting fuel through on side
I found this video and followed it taking pump apart then back together, still same issue only one side is pumping. Not sure what to do next
