Did a small modification to my small garage where kubota hibernates. Found a double opening patio door and installed it outside of my overhead door. Double sealed from the wrath of winter. Gives me light and an easier passage into garage without leaving big door open all day. Side entrance is unpleasant to use on blustery days. IMG_3035.jpg both doors open easily so i can use garage for fixing quads an snowmobiles too. Will make a bridge to keep from destroying threshold.

TJ our weather for tonight has frost warnings for MI, mostly up by where Grouse Feathers is, so I think winter is on our minds already, and I was hoping for a warm fall :(

That's what I get for putting in second plantings of several things, corn beets lettuce. Not ready for this. Good for you to jump on preparations. :)

Great idea Frank.

Double air barrier and openable during the day for light while working. That's a mod that will keep on giving. Now you just need to add a screen door option so you can keep the biters out in summer while the doors are both open. :)

Lol, Ray. Has a screen. Just needs modifying for easy removal. Note to self, make sure door is latched properly or big door wont close....
