It reminded me of how GM saved the first Pontiac that they produced, and lost track of it for decades only to find it when they were cleaning out an old warehouse. I know that NYC has a museum of all its old police cars, but it isn't open to the public.

Apparently they don't look at any of these tractor forums, nor do they reach out to customers because I never knew they were looking.

There’s something “stinky” about that story tho’…. if the Amish farmer painted it green…. show me a speck of green paint anywhere on it. :cautious:

I am certain that every part on the restored tractors was sandblasted clean, primed multiple times, and sanded to perfection prior to the color coat is applied. Most likely it is a base coat clear coat paint job. This is why it is so expensive to do a ground-up restoration on a car, truck, or tractor.
