Do you have the correct bushing adapter on your attachments so they lock into the QH correctly?

If I'm not mistaken, the QH15 has CAT 2 lower link slots. As Bmyers posted above, they work better with Cat 1 - Cat 2 bushings on your implements. The QH10 I believe has Cat 1 lower but the top hook is fixed.

If all of your attachments are QH compatible Cat 1, then maybe switch to the QH10 or get bushings for all of your attachments.

alternatively, this one works quite well and is Cat 1 with adjustable top hook (and very reasonably priced). https://www.everythingattachments.c...nt-quick-hitch-by-Speeco-p/speeco-qh-econ.htm

edit: I just noticed that in the above link, the description actually states that no bushings are required. See highlighted text in pic. Maybe it will help someone else.

So that is why my Kubota QH Cat 1 implements bounce around in the cradle with just the standard pins.

Yep. Not sure why MANY of the quick hitches say Cat 1 but they are really Cat 2 since the lowers are larger? It makes no sense to me why you'd want to buy bushings for all the implements in order for them to fit better.

Here is a pic of mine (Speeco E Hitch) that's "economy hitch" with a rear blade off of an old 8N. Note the 7/8" pins of the rear blade fit pretty well in the quick hitch.

I have both the QH10 and QH15 and you nailed it.

Everything Attachments is offering a 4% discount to celebrate July 4th. The code is JULY4TH. EA also sells products that they don't manufacture but they're getting away from Chinese and Indian made junk.

Same here. Thx! Now I need to go get bushing for all my attachments. Any recommendations for the standard Kubota pins?
Sorry, I can't help you there. But, they should be standard sized. The inner hole should be 7/8" with an outer diameter of 1-1/4"? I think the Cat 2 is 1-1/4". Amazon, tractor supply etc. should have what you need.

Kubota/Land Pride has that handled on some attachments. The RCR1884 has very well thought out pins for either CAT1 or CAT2 connection that work with either the QH10 or QH15.

I had 2.25" long bushings made but you can also get them through Kubota. Attached is a part number for 1 5" landpride bushing pair. Pics of a bushing in the QH and on my mower.

Thx! for all the help guys!! I have only had my LX2610 for 1-1/2 years. Newbie here.
This is a great site for for the new and experienced

I had a QH10 and found it a bit finicky by times for the implement to drop in place. No issues with the QH15.

I have the QH15.

The QH15 hooks are CAT3. You can still use CAT1 or CAT2 implements but you NEED bushings for top and lower links. If you dont, you will have issues.

I like getting a bunch of CAT1 to CAT2 and CAT2 to CAT3 bushings. They are much cheaper than buying a CAT1 to CAT3, and you have the flexibility.

Get the proper bushings and report back.

Curious was I, so downloaded the info about the QH15. All the literature I read (manual, etc) says it's a CAT1 device ! There should be ZERO need for any 'bushings' or 'adapters' or 'whatever', NONE !
It is very deceptive to call it a 'CAT1 ' when in fact it is NOT. LP should be 'scolded' by someone as it's misleading(hell it's a LIE).
CAT 1 has very clearly defined measurements, and the 'industry' has to follow them.

to ad to post #15, heck ,you can probably use CAT0 (CAT ZERO ) implements with the correct bushings....

It's a bit of a mess really. I have both the QH10 and QH15 which have CAT1 inputs but different outputs! Here's a table I just made that might help some folks.

qh10_qh15.jpg

Both the MX and M have CAT2 top links and lift arms which means that the holes in the heim joints are 1" for the top link and 1-1/8" for the lift arms. So I have to use bushings for both tractors to reduce 1" to 3/4" for the top link, and 1-1/8" to 7/8" for the lift arms.

What's messed up is the lack of standardization in this industry. The RCR1884 for example has a 1-1/4" top pin which works with both top hooks on either the QH10 or QH15. It has CAT1/CAT2 lower pins that are the 7/8" and 1-1/8" combination type. So I can run the RCR1884 on the QH10 without bushings, but have to use 1-7/16" to 1-1/8" reducing bushings in order to run the cutter on the QH15. So the QH15 is a CAT1 to CAT3 quick hitch. Clear as mud right?!!!

The bushings are designed to help make most older implements work and to make sure newer implements don't pop out. I ordered mine from sloan supply, they had the best price at the time. Be sure you get the right pin size for your implements.

as in #18

implement side is CAT 3 !!! That is NOT CAT 1, so no wonder everyone's CAT 1 implements come off !
arrgh

so...who do you sue when you toss a real CAT 3 implement on( cause it FITS ) and the CAT 1 side breaks ?

At the very, very least LP needs to ship for free or include for free 6 pairs of CAT 3 to CAT 1 bushings As well as CLEARLY state on page ONE, that this is a cat 1 3pt to cat 3 3pt adapter...
