New here. Doing some work on my tractor and trying to put aftermarket gauges on. My question is where is a good spot to put the coolant temp gauge sender

The best place is probably where the factory sensor is currently located. That is usually very close to the thermostat where water exits the engine for its return to the radiator.

Yes, that’s obviously the best place…IF that option exists. I thought he was adding a gauge in-addition to the OEM or for different reason.

Was trying to stay away from the rad hose because there is not a lot of room. So I was thinking either in the heater core lines or the hose at the bottom of the block to radiator

Heater core lines would not likely be dependable to have the hottest coolant if the heater core is not being fully served.
Besides…what do you mean “not a lot of room”..?? … the adapter takes up almost zero-room when the appropriate amount of upper radiator hose is removed to accommodate the adapter.
(Why am I getting the feeling that this is a trolling event….?)

Not trolling. Just asking questions because I am having a hard time finding any information on the internet
