I recently inquired from Kubota main headquarters in California what my 1976 L225DT would have cost new. They tell me it would have had an original suggested retail price of $4,500. I just saw a 1976 L225DT with 1,200 hours sell for $5,200! Man, buy a kubota, use it for 34 years then turn around and sell it for a profit.

Like anything else Daniel it's all about supply and demand on used tractors. Vic had pointed this out to me a few months ago in sorta the same topic. I was wondering why I have a hard time trying to sell my Kubota B6100E. Vic explained the supply and demand factor, which in his neck of the woods in Canada sub compact Kubota's are in huge demand because of alot of small acerage farms in his area. The over all condition of the tractor and weather or not it has a loader makes a huge impact on the price. Most people are looking for decent tractors with loaders on them these days.

In 1967 you could walk into your local GM Dealership and drive home in a 427 powered L71 Corvette. 435 Ponies through an M22 Rock Crusher for just over $4000 bucks! Nice.

Want to venture a guess on what that baby is worth today?

Yep, north of $100K!!

That is just the price of the new ZR1 that it takes to outrun that old iron. ;) ;) ;) ;) :D :D :D
