Yes - there are fusible links - not sure without digging if/where yours is located. YOU have a volt/ohm meter? If so - check voltage @ starter while key is turned. report back with any news

Check PTO levers (in off position) and HST pedal (centered).

Finally found HST switch hidden behind right rear wheel needed adjusting. Starts every time now. Thanks for responding.
