After two broken bell housings and two blown clutches I decided to fabricate side rail supports for my 06' Kubota B7800. I used 6" x ½" steel plate and connected the engine rails to the rear rails to support both the aluminum bell housing and the cab support structure. It was on the last clutch repair that the mechanic at TractorLand in High River Alberta indicated that the tractor lacked support for the bell housing. He noted that loader tractors had a bridging support that joined the engine frame and the rear of the tractor thus giving strength, The front support for the cab also was attached to the aluminum bell housing putting more weight and stress on the joint between engine block and bell housing. My tractor had no such support.
Here is a fairly long youtube video of the process. Hopefully I have fixed the defect.
