Hello, I wanted to ask about servicing my Kubota B6000 tractor. I just bought it and know absolutely nothing about it, so I want to change all the oils and filters it has (I don't know anything about them either). So I'm asking for help figuring out what filters and part numbers it has, what density and oil specifications to use, and which filter to change. Thank you so much, best regards.

I believe you can get to this site from your country. If not, tell us and someone can probably prove the manual in PDF format (language will probably be English and French). The site would like to get a donation but the do is free (don’t get caught up with a scam ad that may pop up)

The engine will need oil rated for a diesel engine. Use the viscosity you want to really but something like 15w-40 will be good. If you are in a colder region just cut the viscosity down.

For the hydraulics and transmission there is one fluid and the manual may ask for 80w gear oil. That was about all that was available at that time. Now you can use a universal tractor and transmission fluid (UTTF) like the Kubota UDT, SUDT or SUDT2. The first two are non synthetic ones and the last is synthetic. The synthetic is good for cold climates and HST drive tractors. It is expensive and really no benefits to a gear drive other than it is synthetic oil.

If 4WD then there is oil in the front axle but no filter. You can use gear oI’ll or UTTF.

There will be an engine oil filter. Probably close to the injection pump.

The transmission and hydraulics use a strainer that will look like a banjo bolt holding on the suction oil line to the transmission case. Right side lower area back by the rear axle area under the seat. Removal will drain transmission fluid but not entirely, there are other lower drains. Remove and clean or replace the strainer. There are some type of sealing washers on both sides of the suction pipe.
