My local dealer has gotten in a bunch of tractors and loaders, so much they have enlarged the parking area!
Local where ?My local dealer has gotten in a bunch of tractors and loaders, so much they have enlarged the parking area!
I checked with my dealer on 2601 because I want to order one and he said they are floated over here from JapanUnlikely. B2601 made in USA (for US market - mine was made in Japan but that's rest-of-world). Most likely a Grand L or two.
Aw crap: https://bc.ctvnews.ca/railway-service-disrupted-by-b-c-s-heavy-rains-mudslides-1.5668369.... He says it is coming from Japan, same as all tractors for the Canadian market. He said they've had shorter shipping times since they started landing in Vancouver and using rail to get to Eastern parts. ...
You would be much happier with more power than an entry level 2501I talked to my dealer yesterday. I was interested in seeing an L2501. None in stock but they do have the L3301 and the L3901. Its the same tractor I was told with different engines. Cant say I was surprised.
I think its funny that my local JD dealer is the only place that does have tractors. Not sure if that's because nobody buys them or some how they are able to produce more.Got notice from the local JD dealer that they got a new shipment of tractors.
It finally arrived at the dealer just after Christmas, after a long wait in Vancouver waiting on the rail lines through the Rockies to get rebuilt after the washouts in November. Was taking to my dealer about my B2401 that was due "in September" but now has a "November 30th" delivery date. He says it is coming from Japan, same as all tractors for the Canadian market! He said they've had shorter shipping times since they started landing in Vancouver and using rail to get to Eastern parts. Says they were landing in Montreal but then the can would just get buried for two weeks!
Canada only get loaders, backhoes, mower decks from Georgia (things without motors).
