Hey everyone,

I was looking at picking up my first tractor and my neighbor has a buddy who picked up a zennoh. He stated he was able to get it running off of ether. When he got it he said it had no diesel in it but he got it filled up with fuel but knows it needs battery and a starter rebuilt. I took photos of the tractor and will post them below i am wondering how hard it would be to get parts for it. Comes with a bucket and rear pto

It is labeled as a Zb6001fd the plaque on the floor board area is worn and dilapidated, the case under the seat is stamped b6 and when looking under the hood it looks like one or two hoses are missing one on the injector side at the front of the motor and the top of the head cover.

Any insight would be amazing to determine if it's worth buying photos will be below! Thank you in advance!

It is pretty much a B6100, it will have almost all the same parts, normally the only thing different is the PTO gear setup.

Using ether / starting fluid on these engines can do some serious damage to them.
Has the engine been started and run on diesel since that was done?

I only see one hose off, and it's just a simple vent hose that just lies next to the engine.

From my understanding he only did it to see if it would turn over and fire up which it did and he hasn't ran it since due to it needing a starter
The other hose is on the 3rd injector which is closest to the headlights it's fuel hose that comes off the injector and is cut short don't know if it's a breather or for overflow
He has diesel sitting in the fuel bowl now but I hadn't tried to start it

So from my understanding if I need parts for it all except the pto gear setup I should be able to go to go through Kubota and use b6100 engine parts if needed? Does year model matter?

I really appreciate you reaching out to drop some information to me

No year does not matter for parts.
If you do get it, send me a PM and I'll send you some manuals to help out.
