Hydro oil best changed hot or not?

I warm up my hydraulic fluid before draining.

I would imagine most any fluid would drain better warm.

As to the importance,opinions will surely vary.

The hydraulic oil should be thinner and drain better when warm. That is the reason for changing engine oil when warm.

Since you will not be draining and changing the oil, cooler more viscous oil would make less of a mess/loss.

Well seein as how you don’t need to dump the fluid, why burn yer hands changing filters?
