Hydraulic lift for mid-mount mower on BX2200

After I made a heigh adjustment on while mowing with my BX 2200 with mid mount mower, the deck will not lower. I had this happen once several years ago but can't remember what I did to correct the problem.
Can anyone help?

Is your 3 pt. lowering speed knob in the "locked" position???

BFH (big f&$#@ hammer) usually solves these problems.
