L2650, just replaced the dry dual stage clutch.

So far so good (the tractor moves again). I drained all the hydraulic fluid and replaced same during the clutch replacement.

I don't understand something though... why do I have two Oil Fill locations and only one sight glass? I have an oil fill location on the hump between the seat and the steering wheel and one red filler cap behind the seat above the rear axle.

Only one sight glass behind the clutch peddle.

I don't understand nor read anything about this in the WSM or operator manual. The operators manual does show 2 locations to fill, and only one sight glass...

My 3PH does not go up or down and I suspect it is because it is low on oil. It worked great prior to the clutch replacement. The oil level is correct in the sight glass. Note-I have not hooked the loader back up yet...

Any help is welcome, thanks

I located a large slotted screw that had a snap ring under the head. The screw was in the hydraulic pump where the loader hoses originate.

I turned this screw to the opposite extreme and the 3PH started working.

I shut the tractor down and then put the screw back where it was.

I believe when I hook the loader up all will be fine. HOWEVER...

I would still appreciate an explanation on the 2 filler locations and 1 sight glass, how much oil goes in the rear???

thanks

You are 100% correct on the diverter block, you must have it in bypass when the loader is not hooked up.

The only reason for the multiple location to fill was for options like a cab that would cover one port or another, or a different style transmission that would eliminate one of the ports.
There were a lot of different options available to these models.

If you look at the motor on some of these models they too will have multiple places to fill them.

If you don't have the WSM or the OPS manuals for it just ask and I'll tell you where to get them.
