I Have 10 acres here in NH, and I want to grade my trails. Looking through the literature that I got with my B2650, I have a pamphlet that reads “Grading Scrapers”. My question is, how well would this work in packed down dirt?

They work great for maintenance but not as well for repair or building.

I primarily use a box blade with rippers and a rake for repair and grading.

I like to look at Messick's tractor school videos. Below is a link to the one Neil made on land planes.

I use a box blade on the trails at our camp because it is better to cut down the humps and fill the low ruts.

If you are using a box blade on trails through the woods with the ripper teeth down, be mindful of large roots that may be lurking below. Slow is better.
