Just wondering if i'm doing something wrong? I am using my L3710 and snowblower for the first time. It will only blow about ten ft. Is there more than one speed for the mid pto. any help much appreciated

Not sure about your model. I have seen some tractors with a lever that was for rear or mid pto. I don't know if it was for changing the speed or if it was actually turning one on and the other off. Maybe some of the other guys will be able to help you out.

Just curious, what engine rpm were you turning when you tried your blower out?

I tried idle all the way to wide open. I have found the problem. I bought this blower on the advice of a buddy that said it was "just like new, hardly used".
I Checked the gear case oil, greased everything and put it on and excitedly went out to blow snow a 100ft. 10 ft was all I got.
Went out today and looked at the fan, it was mangled horribly, with around an inch clearance between the fan and the housing. I think the previous owner tried blowing stone piles.

That sux to find out right now since this is when you need it. Tell your buddy he has to take up the slack with a snow shovel!!! LOL
