Hitch hitting hydraulic lines

The hitch on my 3301 drops right onto the hydraulic hose when the backhoe is attached. Also, following my dealer's suggestion, I plug the hose in to form a "loop" when it's disconnected, which leads to that hose also being hit. I'm concerned about wearing the hose through with this setup. Thoughts or suggestions?

Either have another hose made with a 45-degree fitting on it at the quick-connect,...OR have a 45 or 90-degree angle fitting attached to either the hose or the outlet.

I used a 45 angle on the fixed or ridged hose which angled it up and to the right just enough to make everything clear

Is the offending pin the correct pin for that location? Could it be shortened and redrilled?

It's what it came with from the factory, and anything shorter would not hold the hitch hardware.

Seems like a bit of a design flaw to me.

The recommendation for the 45 fitting seems like it might help, I'll give that a try.
