Hearing protection with music when running the tractor? What do you use?

I have a set of Bose noise cancelling ear buds that I use when I fly but I was wondering what folks here like when mowing for hours on end. I'm looking for a recommendation for a set of ear buds that will allow me to listen to music on my phone via Bluetooth while also protecting my hearing. Any recommendations?

The worktunes are nice for the price and are my backup, but my go-to are Bose QC-35s. Not only are the more comfortable they are also quieter.

Thanks for the recommendations but I'm looking for ear bud type protection. I really don't want to be wearing anything that goes over my ears. I could use the Bose ones I have but they're expensive and will get covered in dust and other crap so I'd rather buy something that I'll dedicate to using on the tractor.

I know these aren’t what you are looking for, but these are what I went with.

I didn’t want something that covered my ears, I still wanted to be able to hear the tractor/zero turn and whats going on around.
That's more like what I'm after. If I can get noise cancellation, hearing protection and bluetooth all in a somewhat rugged and dustproof package I'll be set.

Bose adds never show models doing actual work, always fluff stuff that makes me wonder how "industrial" their products are. I've been pleased with the Bose wired noise cancelling earbuds that I bought four or so years ago but sitting on a plane is a low bar compared to driving a tractor for hours at 2,400 rpm and pulling a rotary cutter.

Just picked these up last week, for the exact reasons you speak. Very nice. Ttwt for a discount on the isotunes site. I also picked up the muff version.

That's what I'm looking for. I was watching a YouTube channel that features tractors and they were recommending these but I couldn't remember the name of the channel or the brand of hearing protection. Rats! The orange ones are on backorder on the Isotunes website. 😩

There's some outfit on Amazon selling the orange ones for $65 more than the black ones despite no price difference on the Isotunes website. I think I can wait until July 21st.

I bought a set of Isotune Pro 2.0 last week and they were DOA. Wouldn’t power on and I could not get Isotune to contact me to troubleshoot or exchange. After 3 days of nothing they did respond to my request for a RMA to get a refund. They were prompt to process it and I had my money by end of week. Would not recommend their product. I ended up with a pair of Sony over the ear noise cancellation headphones. Bluetooth so no cords and at $100 if they get damaged no great loss. I save my Bose noise canceling headphones for my international travel. Absolutely love them and no one comes close to their quality

3M Worktunes…. normally priced at $50 - $75. at Northern Tool…. I once found them there on-sale for $15. Great noise reduction…and can be tuned while wearing/listening because they have an internally-voiced announcement… such as “Niney-Five Point Five FM”. as the knob is turned.

I have some samsung buds. They fit my ear very well and block out way more noise than any expanding foam earplug ever did. I even use them here at work.

In the past, I would snowblow in my snowboarding helmet - it was the warmest and most comfortable and also has headphones built in. I would put earplugs in for the noise, then blast those headphones to their max so I could hear the music.
Now, with the buds, I don't turn the volume up any more than I do when listening any other time.

I use 3M WorkTunes like others i've picked up on sale. Oldest grand daughter seems to approve too.

I have had a set of Isotunes for a few months now and have no complaints. My only issue is remembering to occasionally charge them.
