OK I have to say that these R4's are not like the old ones. I never had a slipping problem of got hung up, these newer ones. Well lets say a slight grade and 4wd and a bit of snow and they sit and spin. So I know there was a thread aout grooving tires, and my question id for anyone that did it,, Did it really help?

I helped a buddy of mine groove his R4's on his JD 1025r and it made a night and day difference...you wouldn't believe it! I bought the Ideal tire groover for about $80. If you do it in the summertime when the tires are hot you will have better luck and your shoulder will thank you.

Skeets if you'd look up that thread you'd have the answer for your tires being grooved. Or did you mean to post that question on the "What Are You Listening To" thread? ;)

D2 you are too much my friend,, No really I wanted to hear for folks that have done it. and see what the good the bad or the ugly was before I spent the shekels on a tool. Did they do just the rear or both front and rear,, you know

I’ve done the rears on mine and it is a noticeable difference in traction.
