Hello all

Has any one tried to put one of those stainless steel coffee screens in the filler neck of a grand L ( L6060) ? Watching Messick's video and reading the comments, it seems the filler neck is a bit different and the screen will not fit.

Thanks.

I have an LX2610 and thought that Kubota would have a common size fuel cap diameter and diameter for the fuel tank, they don't. The coffee filter that Messicks ( Ritter bit will do,
)used was for the BX23S which has a larger ID fuel tank throat, the filter wouldn't fit my LX2610. If I remember correctly, the filter OD would have to be about 2.25 diameter, I looked everywhere and couldn't find one that would work.

The Grand l actually have a smaller cap than the generic ball jar strainers. I was by my machine Pokey, but I forgot the strainer. Ill try it out tomorrow. Ill post pics and part numbers. Only thing I may run into with it is it is not very deep, so I may get more splash back than acceptable. (20GPM FILLRITE) I may have to keep looking but it will work great for 5gal can fillers.

Interesting idea. I'm assuming this is to prevent debris intrusion while filling, and not from the fuel itself? I've never had any debris to speak of in the trucks fuel filters.
